On the weekend beginning November 9th, there were four separate sectional championship competitions held throughout Southern California. Each one was conducted with the primary goal of determining the qualifiers to the Levels 3, 4 and 5 SoCal State Championships, the last meet of the 2013 season. Wildfire entered the West Sectional where 429 gymnasts representing 21 teams competed for honors. And from that number 36 Wildfire gymnasts placed within the top 6 AA from which 21 of them finished among the top 3 All Around. In the process, Wildfire became three times 2013 West Sectional Team Champions sweeping Levels 3, 4 and 5.
There were 262 gymnasts participating as Level 3’s. Two of the top four were Wildfire gymnasts, they being All Around Champions Ruby Mach (37.875, 1st Vault: 9.675) and runner up Kenzi Arnold (37.875, 1st Bars, 1st Beam).
