Career as a Gymnast
2007
Cassandra missed the 2007 season due to injury and retired from the sport of gymnastics upon the completion of the season.
2006
Cassandra was been a tough competitor for the Beavers all season, battling through tendinitis in both knees that limited her to vault and bars. Cass held the lead off role on bars for most of the season and got the Beavers started with a 9.80 at the Pac-10 Championships. But her 9.725 bars set at the NCAA West Regional that got the Beavers rolling and turned out to be just as important on OSU’s road to the Championships. Cass was also clutch for the Beavers, getting thrown into the vault lineup when injuries struck during warm-ups twice. Despite minimal warm-up, she performed outstanding vaults on both occasions.
