Paris Mohammadipour is being recognized as Wildfire’s Coach of the Month. Paris has provided extra help to the gym in subbing many classes the past few months and taking on a full teaching schedule in addition to her own classes as a student at Cal State Fullerton where she is majoring in psychology.
Paris was born in Birmingham, Alabama where she started her gymnastics training. She lived in Alabama for 14 years and at one time had a heavy southern accent. After her family moved to southern CA, she continued training at a local southern CA club for two more years and trained through the USAG level 8. As she entered Aliso Niguel High School, she put more of her time and energy into dance and helped her high school team win two national titles.
Paris began coaching when she was 15 years old. She loves giving back to the sport that meant so much to her over the years. At Wildfire, Paris coaches all levels of our recreational program. She also took on coaching a level 1 Gym Team this fall and enjoys that program and helping her 8 students learn the ins and outs of competing, staying on the beam, and remembering and perfecting routines on all events.
Paris introduced her only sibling, Paradise, to coaching as well and we welcomed her to the Wildfire family this summer. A few fun facts about Paris are she loves Chipotle (she says she has an unhealthy addiction), and she enjoys going to the beach and Disneyland in her free time. Paris has two dogs, Petey and Teddy.
When asked about her Wildfire experiences, she said, “I really enjoy working at the gym. I love that everyone is so easy to get along with and that it is a fun working environment.” Thanks Paris, we appreciate you and your love of the sport and for passionately sharing your experiences and expertise with so many young girls.
