Wildfire Gymnastic’s second venture into its 2015 optional season took place at the Palm Springs Convention Center, the event being the inaugural Palm Springs Gymnastics Cup. Nineteen teams participated bringing with them 331 gymnasts. Every level was represented, spanning Levels 3 to 10. Wildfire gymnasts competed at Levels 7, 8, 9 and 10, becoming by the end, the 2015 Palm Springs Gymnastics Cup Team Champions at Levels 8, 9 and 10. Wildfire athletes won, as well, All Around Gold at every level entered including Levels 7, 8, 9 and 10.

Nicoletta Koulos, was the highest scoring Level 10 of the two day competition. Winning that distinction while accounting a 38.100 All Around total, Nico showed a level of consistency by winning three individual events (1st Vault - 9.650, Bars - 9.600 and Beam 9.550). Wildfire gymnasts won each of the three Level 10 age groups contested, Emily Lopez leading the Jr. 12 - 13 division. Her AA score of 37.650 brought with it four individual event Golds (1st Vault, Bars, Beam and Floor). Sr. 16 + AA Champion, Grace Kramer added wins on Vault and Floor.

Wildfire Level 9 gymnast, Madalyn Parsons, was by virtue of a steady consistent effort, the highest scoring Level 9 of the entire competition. Combining with her All Around Championship were three individual event Gold Medal performances on Bars, Beam and Floor. Ranking 2nd AA in the Sr. 14 - 15 age division was Alison Rannalli. Joining her teammates as a top three All Around finisher, was Sr. 16 + AA Bronze Medalist Madison McIntyre. Standout individual event performances reflect 1st place efforts on Vault by Jordan Duffield and Floor by Katelyn Johnson.

Wildfire Level 8 gymnast, Juliana Harrison, was the highest All Around scoring Level 8 gymnast of the weekend including all age divisions. She also finished out earning Sr. 14 + 1st place Championships on Vault and Floor. Amanda Obergfell completed her competition as the Ch. 10 - 11 AA Champion, winning Beam as well. Wildfire’s Aurora Huxman on her way to winning Bars and Beam ranked 2nd All Around as the Jr. 12 -13 Runner Up.

Level 7 Allyson Hom was Wildfire’s Jr. 12 - 13 1st Place All Around Champion. Two of Allyson’s teammates each won individual event titles on Vault and Floor. Taylor Trivino (1st Vault - 9.650, 1st Floor - 9.675) and Phoebe Ladd (1st Vault - 9.675, 1st Floor - 9.500).
